2010 has been quite an eventful year for State Your Cause and all who are close to it. We have shared the stage with many of our heroes, gained national attention, relentlessly toured our region and, most importantly, we've had the privilege of meeting some of the most amazing, interesting and caring people that the land has to offer.
If you're receiving this email, you've taken it upon yourself to sign up for our newsletter at a show or signed up for one of our many giveaways. Don't worry! We don't plan to bombard you with meaningless garble about this, that and a daily status of the band. As you're well aware, you've given us your email, and the holidays presented us with the perfect opportunity to finally use it. So we've arrived at this: we have your email which means you've in some way taken part of something SYC had to offer in 2010.
Let's forget the cliche as we genuinely say, from our hearts to yours, thank you for legitimizing our efforts and making all of our sacrifices worthwhile. If you've given a hug to, had a conversation with, asked for a signature from, or just said "Nice set!" to a member of this band, you've given us a gift that we all cherish. All of you that have taken time out to find out about SYC and meet the members have given meaning to the dream we're chasing. Without your support, there really is no reason for us to continue moving forward.
2011 will see new music, video, shows, merchandise - anything and everything you would want from a band, you will get. So keep hitting us up on Facebook, Twitter or any other social network. Let us know what you're thinking. Ask questions and tell us how we can become your favorite band, and if we already are, tell us how we can keep our spot in your heart.
We'll end this with a challenge to those who have seen us and think we're worth mentioning: PASS US ON. Give State Your Cause the chance to be discovered by everyone you know by merely telling them to check us out. Our entire band is accessible. We're easy to find and we all LOVE replying and interacting with anyone. Just know that if you spread the word, we won't let you or anyone else down.
